As a sculptor working in metal and clay, I have exhibited in numerous locations in Canada, as well as in Europe. The creative search is never-ending. Time disappears as the imagination takes over, and new things and ideas happen in the process.
Elongated forms appear repeatedly in the objects of metal, clay, brass and bronze or a combination of mixed media. Often, tall slender figures reach for the sky.
What is considered “perfect” and what is not? Inspiration involves incorporating imperfections into art forms as they evolve, and playfully searching for a balance between “perfection” and “imperfection.”
